Simply Photos... Simply Lazy

Happy Monday to you and your loved ones!

Pool & bubble time

Last but not least, some eustomas to pretty up the home

That's it for my laziness.  I wish you a productive, lovely and blessed week ahead! Keep smiling!

Max Is In The House

Dear Mr Lucado,

Nice to meet you and it is so wonderful to have you here, right in our home, finally!
Although it took you 3 months to reach us, it was worth the wait.

This is the 2nd book (out of 4 books I requested) from Booksneeze that arrive
safely in my hands.

What's With Two?

She wants to take all of his stuffed animals into bed with her and her stinky bolster, almost everywhere she goes.

She hides behind the curtain and under the table when she poops in her diaper but very obediently wee wee in the toilet.

She transforms into a total brat when she sees Daddy-- throwing food, hitting, climbing on Daddy's head (literally) and soak all her biscuits in her milk and juice and water.

She pitches a fit while I cut her fruits she just demanded asked for.

She pushes my hand away whenever Daddy holds my hand and take away Daddy's hands whenever he puts his hands over my shoulder.

This is overwhelming for me.  Am I alone or does most 2 year old behaves like this?

Flower Power

Some photos of my one of my favourite photography objects.  The mini lotus, purple dancing orchids and purple little flowers are from my Mom's garden.  My Mom spend quite an amount of time beautifying her garden and I am glad I had the chance to capture her hardwork in my photos.

Weekend in PD ~ 14-15 Oct 2011

Since all hotels in Genting was running full, our wish to escape from the heat remain wishful thinking.  We settled for Port Dickson and it turn out to be a good choice.  Not too far yet far enough for a last minute weekend getaway. Despite the weather being not much different from home, we had a lot of fun!  We played by the beach, cycled and we fed fishes at the marina!  We stayed at the beautiful Avillion Admiral Cove..  Rooms were spacious and trendy.  Service was excellent.  The view from the hotel was spectacular and the marina was a sweet bonus.  And of course, what is a trip without food hunt! We had very delicious seafood too!

Although I am not a good fan of such hot weather, I am thankful it didn't rain.  Isabelle had a blast enjoying all the activities.  The rain would have made all those impossible :)

I'll Be Missing You

I will miss playing the piano while looking out into the mountains, green and serene.

I will miss the smell of the wind before the rain comes.

I will miss the way the wind caresses my face.

I will miss the warmth and the feeling of familiarity.

I will miss the sense of belonging.

I will miss sharing and passing down the kind of fun I had during my childhood with my little girl.

I will miss ransacking the old junkbox and discovering and experience the joy of my childhood again.

I will miss traveling to memory lane each time I see a familiar face and place or see something I have known for almost all my life.

I will spend the rest of the days missing everything about you, my dear home sweet home because really, there is nowhere like home.

But most of all, I will miss you. Ma and Papa, I will miss being near you and be your little girl again. I will miss seeing how your faces lit up every time you play and entertain your adorable granddaughter. I will miss how she makes you giggle with joy and I know how much it reminds you of the younger me. Home...carefree, secure, protected and where I belong. And until we reunite again and have loads of fun together, I submit the misery of missing you into God's hands.

Ma, Papa.. thank you for being such wonderful parents to me and has always given the best to me in everyway you possibly can. I can never thank you enough for your love. I can never ever in this life repay for what you have sacrificed for me. But I can keep you close in my prayers, every single day. May God bless you with the best of health, a joyful heart and send you many blessings in many ways. May He keep you safe everywhere you go and thank you Lord for making my kind parents a blessing to those they know. Please Lord, keep them and fill their lives with peace, lots of love and joy. Amen.

Happy Birthday To Me! :)

I am another year older today and happy birthday to me! :)

This should be one of the very few birthdays I get to celebrate and spend with my parents since I became an independent working adult.  At the same time, this is my first birthday I am celebrating without my dear hubby beside me since we get married.

Woke up imagining I have a whole day of celebration ahead of me.  Spa, manicure, facial, hairdo, shopping, wine, dine and away from the toddler.  *SNAP* Reality.  None of the above and my toddler will continue to cling on to me like a koala whole day long.  Does not really look or feel like a birthday.  And I am aging, fast!!

Then I was reminded that I am actually very blessed and does age or whether there will be any extravagant celebration matters? No.

Because... I have love, great parents, family, a loving husband and of course, an incredibly adorable and beautiful daughter.  That is enough to compensate the celebration I am not going to have this year.

Just when I thought it is going to be another beautiful but ordinary day, the florist came ding-dong at our door and a beautiful bouquet of flowers was presented to me.

The flowers came with a beautiful message:

"Happy Birthday Mommy!  Thank you for taking care of Daddy & me.  Ensuring we always have the best.  Daddy & I are truly thankful that God awarded us you.  Mommy,  you are our angel.  We love you very much!  May God continue to bless you with great health, love and many joy!
From:  Your lovely Isabelle and Hubby"

Simplest Things Makes A Mummy Smile

They say best things in life are free. Now that I am mother, it amazes me how true that is and how such simple things can bring so much joy to a Mummy.

When it only takes a cup of plain water to make her smile like this

When she laughs like this

When she learns to draw, color, mess up herself and my coffee table

When she eats what I cook and made standing infront of a hot stove for a good 20 minutes

When I see my little princess becoming Daddy's girl, walking hand in hand in the park

When she giggles like this playing with the rain

When she jumps right in after the sheets were changed and tell me, "Mommy, sheets, nice!"

And all those above are well, free :)

Thank you Isabelle, for bringing us so many laughter, love and joy. We praise and thank the Lord that when He decided to give us a baby, He gave us you.

F.E.V.E.R.

Isabelle is down with fever since Thursday night.  I am praying she recovers soon and she will be back to the usual active and cheeky self in no time.  I miss her naughty-ness (is there such word?) and I miss having her playing with her toys and chasing the dogs and the duck.  She causes no fuss.  Other than having to hold her down for her medications, she clings on to me most of the time.

This episode lead me to get to know about Mr Fever and my discovery only amaze me even more!  Our God is not only wonderful but clever and thoughtful!  Look at how He makes FEVER works for all of us.  I can't help but to be in awe of His creation.  Who on earth could have created anything like our human body to be so 'automatic' but God?

"Fever is not an illness. Far from being an enemy, it is an important part of the body's defense against infection. Many infants and children develop high fevers with minor viral illnesses. While a fever signals to us that a battle might be going on in the body, the fever is fighting for the person, not against.

Fever is an important part of the body's defense against infection. Most bacteria and viruses that cause infections in humans thrive best at 98.6°F. Raising the body temperature a few degrees can help the body fight the infection. In addition, a fever activates the body's immune system to make more white blood cells, antibodies, and other infection-fighting agents. "

But anyway, fever... please do go away as soon as you finish fighting all the viruses or bacterias and whatnots.  Thank you.
