Weekend in PD ~ 14-15 Oct 2011

Since all hotels in Genting was running full, our wish to escape from the heat remain wishful thinking.  We settled for Port Dickson and it turn out to be a good choice.  Not too far yet far enough for a last minute weekend getaway. Despite the weather being not much different from home, we had a lot of fun!  We played by the beach, cycled and we fed fishes at the marina!  We stayed at the beautiful Avillion Admiral Cove..  Rooms were spacious and trendy.  Service was excellent.  The view from the hotel was spectacular and the marina was a sweet bonus.  And of course, what is a trip without food hunt! We had very delicious seafood too!

Fish feeding at the marina!
The Hotel practised very good safety measure.  We were given life jacket, for fish feeding!

Although I am not a good fan of such hot weather, I am thankful it didn't rain.  Isabelle had a blast enjoying all the activities.  The rain would have made all those impossible :)

Yes Germaine, we had a blast.

With kids, it will be fun and works if we go somewhere with either amusement parks or beaches. :)

Lukut is far from the hotel u stayed right? and u drove like 15 mins for the meals???

I love PD. ITs a place, not too far to relax. There is a coffee shop at town...must try. Good hainanese coffee + toast + chicken chop + hockkien mee =) **getting greedy**

The hotel was about 20-25 mins away from Lukut town. And yes, we drove for about 25 mins for the seafood. It was worth it :)

I read about the hainanese goodies but too little time to try everything. GOod reason to go again :)
