Lantern In The House

It is the time of the year again. Lanterns... mooncakes... candles...

And again, travelling back to my childhood years. I remember hanging out with other kids from the neighbourhood, showing off our lanterns. Such good memories that I will cherish all my life. I was a happy Mommy when we went out to get lanterns for Isabelle. I can be a child again, playing with lanterns and not feel silly!

Now it is time for Isabelle to create her lantern memories, with us! :)

My little girl having a jolly lantern time!

Those WERE wonderful lantern memories from childhood. I cannot stand those battery operated lanterns though. I much prefer the traditional kinds that use candles. Wah so fast play lantern already!

You are so right! Battery operated and more canggih ones with music! Menyakitkan telinga.

We bought Isabelle a battery operated one. But she was not interested in it at all. And after just one day, kaput.

So fast playing lantern already! Isabelle looked so thrilled! Can't wait to let my dahlings play with lanterns. But nowadays kids don't have that much fun like us. Last time, we just simply walk around the housing area with friends and neighbours. But nowadays, I don't think we will dare to allow our kids to go on their own without us following at the back. LOL.

Hi Carolyn!

It was me who actually cant wait to start playing lanterns more than Isabelle! HAHA!

It is true that today, we no longer have that peace of mind to be out there or to let our kids roam the neighbourhood without our supervision like we used to during our days. Nothing really compares to the type of fun we had eh?
